If the vault data were damaged, you need use the backup data to restore. Please follow the step:
- Quit Elpass completely.
- Navigate to the backup folder in Finder. Since the system hides the Library folder, please use the 'Go' -> 'Go to Folder' menu item in Finder. The path is '~/Library/Application Support/app.elpass.macos/Backups'
- Copy the latest backup file to the desktop.
- Rename the file to 'Main.zip', confirm the change of extension.
- Unarchive the zip file.
- Rename the new 'Main' folder to 'Main.elpassdb', confirm adding the extension.
- Move Main.elpassdb to the cloud storage.

- - If you use iCloud, move to iCloud Drive/Elpass/
- - If you use Dropbox, move to Dropbox/Apps/Elpass/

- Launch Elpass, choose 'Already have a subscription' and 'Continue'.
- Choose the correct sync service and enter the master password.
